The East Chamber present itscompliments,this is to inform you aboutthe letterof Saudi ChambersCouncil (ش.غ/ 159) dated(11/01/1436),referredtotheletterof the Ministry ofTrade and IndustryNo. (267/9/2/19) dated(2/1/1436), containing thereference to theMinisterial Decree No.(936) dated(10/08/1435)statingto compelagencies andcar showroom for puttingadatacard for thecarsoffered for salebytheirspecific model.
The resolutionincludedthe following:
1.Thedata contained in theformattached to thisdecisionofthe mandatorytrade datathat haveenteredin the estimation ofthe value ofthe vehiclewhen viewedat car showsand the like.
2.not permissible to sellthe vehicle offered for saleat car showsand the likeasthe datacontained inthe attached formdid notcarrythis decisionto bewritten in Arabic, at leastmatchingthe truthofallthe facesand placedin a prominent placeandclear handwritingon thewindshieldof the vehiclesupplysold.
3.compelautoshowsand the like toputthe data in theform on thevehiclesoffered for salein accordance with theform attachedto this resolution.
the decisionwillstartafter(60) daysof the date hereof,notethatsettingbodyin the ministrymemberswillconduct inspectionson theagencies andcar showroomsto verifyadherenceto that resolutionand the completion oflegal proceduresagainstviolators.
